LiquidWeb Opens New Data Center

This week Liquid Web opened a new $80 million data center in Lansing, Mich. to support the next phase of the company's growth. The company says the 90,000 square foot facility will priovide capacity for up to 25,000 servers to support a new cloud computing product.

This week Liquid Web opened a new $80 million data center in Lansing, Mich. to support the next phase of the company's growth. The company says the 90,000 square foot facility will priovide capacity for up to 25,000 servers to support a new cloud computing product that has been in development for more than a year. The facility will also serve as the company's headquarters, and includes office space to support up to 600 customer support staffers. This video has some highlights from Wednesday's grand opening event and a look inside some of the server rooms.
