EvoSwitch is perhaps best known as the host of Wikipedia's European operations. But the data center near Amsterdam has embraced sustainability and operates as a climate neutral facility. The data center is supported by 20 megawatts of renewable power generated by solar, wind and biomass. EvoSwitch recently announced plans for a major expansion that will double the size of the data center, and feature an energy efficient design that will lower the facility's PUE from 1.5 to 1.2.
