After more than six years in a leadership role with Digital Realty Trust, Chris Crosby will leave the company at the end of March. Crosby, the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, joined Digital Realty when the data center REIT went public in October 2004.

"In every endeavor you reach a point where you have accomplished everything that you originally set out to do, and decide that it is time to start seeking new professional challenges," said Crosby. "I have reached that point here at Digital Realty Trust. When I began here, my goal was to help the organization grow into a market leader. I could not have imagined at that time that we would achieve that goal so rapidly or dramatically.

"This success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the many people that it has been my pleasure to work with at Digital Realty Trust," Crosby continued. "It gives me great pride to think of all of the challenges that we were able to overcome by working together to bring innovative solutions to the wholesale data center marketplace."

"During his tenure, Chris tirelessly focused on growing our business and played a key role in developing our data center products and most recently new market opportunities," said Michael Foust, Chief Executive Officer, in the company's press release. "We greatly appreciate his efforts and have come to regard him as both a trusted colleague and a friend. On behalf of the entire organization, I would like to thank Chris for his service to the Company and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors."
