We've often written about the scale of Facebook's data center operations, which now must serve content to more than 800 million users around the world. But here's a different view: a glimpse at what a Facebook data center campus looks like from the air - in this case, the facility in Rutherford County, North Carolina. This video comes from North Carolina realtor Bill Wagenseller, whose flyover videos of the Apple data center in Maiden, North Carolina have gained more than 500,000 views on YouTube. The video shows the first of two 300,000 data center buildings, which is nearly complete, along with a wider shot in which you can clearly see the space that has been cleared for the second data center. This video runs about 1 minute.
