Telehouse Opens Data Center in Hong Kong
Telehouse America, a provider of global dedicated data centers, international Internet exchanges, and managed IT services, announced it will build a new 36,000 square-meter, N+1 or 2(N+1) facility in Hong Kong.

Telehouse America, a global provider of data centers and Internet exchanges,will build a new 36,000 square-mete facility in Hong Kong, the company said today. Scheduled to launch in December 2011, this facility will offer carrier neutral data center services, specializing in cloud computing.
Built in the Tseung Kwan O district, Telehouse Hong Kong Cloud Computing Complex (CCC) will be a neighbor to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Data Center and offer high connectivity capacity from local cable landing stations. Telehouse chose Hong Kong as the location for its first Telehouse Cloud Computing Complex due to its reputation as the ‘"network hub" of Asia. Telehouse Hong Kong CCC aims to offer customers excellent regional access across all Asian territories, including India.
Telehouse Hong Kong will be the 42nd data center in the Telehouse global portfolio, and it's third new data center to open this year.
