A Closer Look at Zeus Technology

WAN optimization specialist Riverbed Technology (RVBD) announced Thursday that it will acquire Zeus Technology. What exactly is Zeus Technology and what does it do? Zeus makes an application delivery controller (ADC) that helps users balance traffic loads in the cloud. The software is no longer dependent on a physical appliance and can be placed in the virtualized ecosystem. At GigaOm Structure 2011 in San Francisco, I chatted with Kosten Metreweli from Zeus, who explains how the software application delivery controller helps optimize traffic in the cloud and assists clients in reaching their business goals.
