Two service providers have announced expansions in the Phoenix market today:
Dedicated and managed hosting services provider Codero is planning a 22,000-square-foot data center in downtown Phoenix, which will be completed in November 2009, the company said today. Codero was formed by web host Aplus.net in July as a division focused on delivering dedicated and managed hosting services to SMBs. "As our customers' hosting and server demands continue to grow, we welcome the challenge of staying ahead of the curve to meet their needs through our data centers," Codero operations director Shawn Hashmi said in a statement. "That means complete power redundancy, on-site security, SAS 70 certification – whatever it takes to fully support small and medium-sized businesses online."
Colocation and interconenction specialist Telx announced today that it has expanded its presence at 120 East Van Buren Street in Phoenix, increasing its capacity by more than 50 percent “As cloud computing, software-as-a-service, and low latency networking continue to provide businesses worldwide with the competitive advantages necessary to succeed in the global marketplace, Telx remains committed to serving customers in key markets like Phoenix with the best colocation and interconnection options available,” said Telx CEO Eric Shepcaro.
