Emerson Appoints Lee as CTO
Emerson Network Power (EMR) has appointed Victor Lee chief technology officer to guide technology innovation.

Emerson Network Power (EMR) has appointed Victor Lee chief technology officer to guide technology innovation, the company said today. Lee will oversee research units developing technologies to address key challenges faced by Emerson's many customers operating mission-critical data centers.
"As a global technology leader, it is imperative that Emerson Network Power continues to challenge itself and the market to develop innovative technologies that make our customers' lives easier and businesses more competitive," Lee said.
"I am dedicated to keeping our efforts focused on solving business continuity challenges through innovative approaches to conventional solutions as well as increased attention to environmentally-friendly alternative energy technologies. I look forward to continued collaboration between the company's leadership and our teams of innovators to anticipate issues we'll confront in the future."
Lee founded Innoveta Technologies (now TDK Innoveta Inc.) in 2000, serving as president and CEO. Previously, he worked as a senior executive for AT&T/Bell Laboratories/Lucent Technologies, where he served for 17 years. Throughout his career, he has secured 15 U.S. patents. He earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from Rutgers University, and a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in business administration from Baylor University.
