Expansions for Internap, Windstream, LightEdge
Service providers Internap Network Services (INAP), Windstream Hosted Solutiosn and LightEdge Solutions are all expanding their data center infrastructure.

We continue to see service providers expanding their data centers to support continued demand in key markets. Here are three examples that crossed the wires today:
Internap to Expand Atlanta Data Center: Colocation provider Internap Network Services Corporation (INAP, announced the expansion of its Atlanta data center to meet growing demand for premium data center services. Phase one of the expansion will include approximately 12,000 square feet and is expected to be online by the third quarter of 2012, bringing Internap's total Atlanta data center footprint to 23,000 square feet. When fully deployed, the expansion space will include 31,000 square feet, increasing the company's total Atlanta footprint to 42,000 square feet. From press release.
Windstream Hosted Solutions Adds Space in Raleigh: Managed hosting provider Windstream Hosted Solutions has begun an expansion to its Raleigh, N.C. data center that will increase the facility's usable space by almost 50 percent to 32,000 square feet. The expansion is needed to keep up with the company's fast-growing customer base, and its demands for cloud-based services, such as secure storage. It will enable the placement of at least an additional 365 customer cabinets that provide a combination of co-located and managed hosting services. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by the end of the third quarter and is the third addition to the Raleigh data center in the last five years. From press release.
LightEdge Solutions Raises $16M for Data Center Expansion: EdgeBCC, a subsidiary of LightEdge Solutions, Inc., has secured a $16 million private equity investment from The Anschutz Investment Company and debt financing from US Bank to double the capacity of its current data center operations in Altoona, Iowa and buyout the existing owners of the facility. Through this transition, The Anschutz Investment Company will become the owner of record and LightEdge Solutions will continue to operate and maintain the facility and its power and cooling resources.The 2.6-acre EdgeBCC property, located near the intersection of I-80 and I-35 in Altoona, IA, together with an option to buy an additional 4.7 acres, can support an expansion of 2 additional similar sized facilities.
