FiberMedia Expands North Jersey Data Center
Data center service provider FiberMedia Group is expanding its flagship facility in Secaucus, New Jersey to accommodate the strong demand for enterprise data center services in the region, the company said today.

Data center service provider FiberMedia Group is expanding its flagship facility in Secaucus, New Jersey to accommodate the strong demand for enterprise data center services in the region, the company said today. The expansion encompasses the entire first floor of 200 Meadowlands Parkway, adding 15,000 square feet of high-density space for colocation and managed services.
The addition doubles FiberMedia's colocation space to 30,000 square feet, out of total data center space of 47,000 square feet. For future expansion, FiberMedia has also secured the rights to the entire second floor of the building which encompasses an additional 34,000 square feet.
"The demand in the market for Intelligent Data Center Solutions that are both cost effective and dynamic continues to grow,"said Michael Bucheit, CEO of FiberMedia Group. "Mid- and large- size enterprises demand performance and resiliency to deploy traditional and cloud IT infrastructure seamlessly in geographic proximity of their own business operations."
FiberMedia's Secaucus New Jersey facility is one of five data centers throughout the New York region. It features dual points of entry for its dense network of communication carriers, and a new dedicated 5 megawatt power feed. The facility is in close proximity with low latency connectivity to major financial exchanges throughout the New York metro market.
