We've previously noted the energy efficient design of NetApp's Global Dynamic Lab, a multi-tiered data center facility in Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. vThe NetApp data center is distinctive in its focus on airflow management, with a design that completely separates hot and cold air and provides granular control over air pressure throughout the facility. This allows NetApp to run equipment at power densities up to 42 kW per cabinet. In this video, NetApp provides a walk-through of the building and some of its features. It runs about 2 minutes, 20 seconds.
