Here's our review of noteworthy links for the UK data center industry from the past week:

  • Further optimism for data centre industry - The outlook is positive for the data centre sector according to Jones Lang LaSalle’s Spring Data Centre Barometer (DCB4). “The majority of our survey respondents hold an increasingly positive attitude towards industry prospects for the remainder of 2010 and into the first half of 2011," said Mark Larard, director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Data Centre team "Over the last couple of months we have seen a number of significant transactions occur, demonstrating that previous optimism is now being converted into hard fact.”

  • Logicalis Opens Data Centre - Logicalis has announced the launch of its 10,000 square foot high density data centre. The Tier 3+ facility, located on the M4 corridor, will provide customers with made-to-measure hosted and managed services to support hyper-virtualised computing, storage and networking technologies.
