It's been a busy year for the dark fiber market in New Jersey, with new fiber routes being created and upgraded to tie together the state's financial data centers, which provide the computing horsepower that drives the growing market for high-speed financial trading. At the recent IO Technology Event in Edison, we spoke with Mike Sevret of Cross River Fiber, one of the companies that has been busy building new routes to provide low-latency connections between the state's financial trading hubs. Sevret discusses the factors guiding these new fiber builds, and how Cross River fits into the competitive New Jersey market. This video runs about 5 minutes.
