Internet monitoring specialists report that today's memorial service for Michael Jackson generated lots of traffic but few serious problems.

Despite some predictions that today's memorial service for Michael Jackson would test the Internet's streaming video capacity, Internet monitoring specialists report lots of traffic but few serious problems from today's event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"The Internet, as a whole, appeared unaffected by the large amount of online traffic generated by the more than 1 million online viewers of Michael Jackson's memorial service this afternoon," said Keynote Systems, a mobile and Web site monitoring firm. Keynote said some news sites offering live coverage had slow page loads during the event.
