Packet Power LLC offers a “smart power cable” for data centers that captures detailed power consumption data and transmits it wirelessly for analysis and reporting. The company unveiled a new version of its power management software this week at AFCOM's Data Center World, along with a partnership with PDU Cables. We stopped by Packet Power's booth, where CEO Steve Van Tassel gave us an overview of the company and its energy monitoring hardware and software. This video runs about 5 minutes, 30 seconds.
