A New Resource, Born of a Cloud Feud
The new Cloud Computing Community has created a useful resource: the Cloud Computing Incidents Database, which provides historial data on cloud outages.

The Cloud Computing Community is a new resource put together by several industry executives and bloggers, which emerged from a schism on the Cloud Computing discussion board at Google Groups. The new community has already contributed a useful resource: the Cloud Computing Incidents Database, which provides historical data on cloud outages.
The new site was set up after cloud blogger Sam Johnston was banned from the Google Groups board after writing a post critical of Enomaly, which employs the group's moderator, Khaz Sapenov. When James Urquhart and Geva Perry tried to discuss the banning of Johnston, they found themselves banned as well. Sapenov says the Google Groups list is a personal project, and not associated with Enomaly.
