Last week Piston Cloud Computing released Piston Enterprise OS, also known as PentOS, a complete, end-to-end solution for building private OpenStack compute and storage clouds. The OS brings together OpenStack features with a hardened and secure custom-built LinuxOS and its Null-Tier Architecture meant to support massive cloud environments. The company also announced a collaboration with Dell, so PentOS is now certified to run on popular Dell servers and switches. CEO and co-founder Joshua McKenty put together this video demonstration showing how simple it is to configure, install and deploy a PentOS cloud.
