JT Communications, which operates the Meet Me Room at the 55 Marietta carrier hotei in Atlanta, has rebranded as Colo Atl . The company said the new name reflects its evolution as a provider of colocation, data center and interconnection services. Colo Atl operates the fully built-out  colocation and Meet Me Room (MMR) on the 5th and 8th floors of 55 Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta. The company was founded in 2001 by Tim Kiser, an engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

"Our new brand is an important step in our evolution into a premier company and signifies a commitment to our current and potential customers," said Tim Kiser. "The name ’Colo Atl’ reflects our no-nonsense approach to provide colocation, data center & interconnection services in Atlanta, Georgia. We have exceptional customer support and affordable rates, which are very important factors in deciding where to locate your telecom or enterprise facilities."

55 Marietta Street, formerly the Fulton National Bank Building, is a 21-story, 399,000 square foot building, with about 180,000 square feet of space occupied by technology companies, including 16 carriers and several colocation and managed services providers. The building began a major redevelopment last year.
