Dallas connectivity provider Union Datacom has launched colocation services from its new 11,000 square foot data center, the company said today, citing rising demand and pricing increases at other data centers in the Dallas market. Union Datacom's data center facility is located in the 2020 Live Oak carrier hotel in Dallas, and connected to two other Dallas carrier hotels, 2323 Bryan (Univision Tower) and the Dallas Infomart.

"Union Datacom is ready to step up and fill a gap in the Dallas colocation market that is directly affecting the operations of area businesses," said Mike Faulkner, CEO of Union Datacom. "With increasing demand for reliable and secure network access, we can immediately offer the space and high-performance features CIOs and IT directors require for quality network uptime and on-site support without breaking the bank."

The company says it is offering colo packages including 1MB with a cabinet and one power drop starting at $600 per month. Founded in 2000, Union Datacom is a privately held company headquartered in Dallas. The company owns and operates its own fiber network, and provides VoIP traffic and complete connectivity for businesses in addition to data center services.
