Hear from Google’s Joe Kava and Heather Dooley at Data Center World

The agenda for next month’s Data Center World is packed with opportunities to make your job easier -- or if not easier, at least more interesting. Google’s Joe Kava and Heather Dooley will be talking about the data center industry’s impending talent shortage. Companies are racing to hire from a shrinking pool of qualified data center pros. One of the answers to addressing the scarcity is ensuring the pipeline on the input side of that talent pool is more diverse. So how do we get there? That’s the biggest question on Joe and Heather’s agenda.

At Google, Joe oversees engineering, construction management and delivery, critical facility operations, environmental health and safety, sustainability, and physical security for the company’s entire global data center fleet. Those facilities house what is probably the world’s largest and advanced cloud platform.

Heather coordinates near-term strategic objectives for Google’s global data center organization and is responsible for developing long-term planning. She also leads program management for metrics and analytics, new products, documentation and communications.
