Chatsworth Products Inc. makes enclosures for data centers, and is known for its passive cooling systems that provide airflow management and containment. In this video, Travis North of Chatsworth provides a demonstration of the company's Teraframe Cabinet Solution, using load banks to simulate 32 kilowatts of IT load in a cabinet at CPI's research center in Georgetown, Texas. North, the Thermal Design Manager for CPI, discusses the importance of measuring temperature stratification at the front of the cabinet, and the advantages of being able to raise the set point on your chiller plant. This video runs about 4 minutes.
