Web Hosting Talk reported Monday that it had experienced a security breach in which intruders accessed a database containing all its user names, email addresses and hashed passwords, and then posted the data on the Internet. The site, the largest online forum for web hosting professionals, said it had been targeted by a "sophisticated and calculated hack."
There's a discussion at Slashdot, which focuses on the attackers use of a backup server to gain access to WHT's systems.
