Cloud hosting provider Linode is looking to hire 30 employees in the Philadelphia area this year, bringing its total workforce to 90.
According to a blog post by Philly.com last week, Linode is hosting an open house at its new office in Haddonfield, New Jersey on May 7 and 8, 2015.
Linode said its Haddonfield office is minutes from center city Philadelphia by car or rail, and is walking distance to mass transit.
The company is also hiring for some positions in Galloway, NJ, where it is headquartered. This location is 60 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and is minutes from Atlantic City.
Earlier this year, Linode announced its plans to expand to Frankfurt and Singapore, partnering with Pacnet for its Singapore data center. In April 2014, the company invested $45 million in its cloud infrastructure and services.
“We’ve invested heavily in being the kind of company that can set the bar for the cloud hosting industry: both through infrastructure and employing the right personnel,” Linode said. “We have the best customer service out there and we’re passionate about making it even better. Our development, ops, hardware, marketing, documentation, and management teams are all part of making Linode everything it can be. This industry moves fast, but we’re committed to hiring the kind of people who can stay a step ahead and keep us – and themselves – at the top.”
Some of the positions listed on its career page include Linux sys admin and tech support, senior web developer, security engineer and software engineer.
