Brocade CEO Discusses Foundry Acquisition

Brocade Communications (BRCD) announced in July that it would acquire Foundry Networks for $3 billion, moving beyond its roots in storage area networking to take on Cisco in the Internet routing market. The deal survived the financial crisis, being repriced at $2.6 billion before closing on Dec. 19.
