Emerson Network Power is partnering with Panduit to incorporate its products into Panduit's Unified Physical Infrastructure (UPI) system, the two companies said today.
The UPI system integrates equipment and technology from Panduit and its partners to provide improved efficiency. The partnership focuses on incorporating Emerson Network Power's cooling, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) monitoring and management technologies into Panduit UPI approach.
"Emerson Network Power is excited about this opportunity to collaborate with Panduit to help customers improve enterprise effectiveness," said Jeff Sturgeon, vice president, marketing and solutions, for the Liebert products business of Emerson Network Power in North America. "Liebert power and cooling technologies with intelligent controls will enable Panduit’s UPI based solutions to provide the highest energy efficiency currently available, support IT growth trends, and enhance availability."
Optimizing Companies' Technology
“Our collaboration with Emerson Network Power enables Panduit to realize the UPI-based principles of physical to logical systems integration in the data center environment," said Vineeth Ram, vice president, global strategic marketing, Panduit. "Together, we are able to provide superior capabilities to connect, manage and automate the systems infrastructure and enable a smarter, unified business foundation for our customers. Reference architectures and reference designs for the data center from Panduit and Emerson will help to optimize the data center infrastructure for power, cooling, speed, space and performance.”
