Schneider Electric Acquires Lee Technologies
Global energy management conglomerate Schneider Electric has acquired Lee Technologies, a leading service provider for the data centers of the North American market, the companies said today. The acquisition of Lee Technologies provides Schneider with a larger presence in data center staffing and support.

Global energy management conglomerate Schneider Electric has acquired Lee Technologies, a leading service provider for the data centers of the North American market, the companies said today. The deal enhances Schneider's data center business, which already includes the APC line of power and cooling projects, and familiar brands such as Square D and Pelco. The acquisition of Lee Technologies provides Schneider with a presence in data center staffing and support. Terms were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, Lee Technologies specializes in data center services, including remote monitoring command centers and on-site critical facility operations. It focuses on customers in the federal government, financial services, telecommunications, information technology and healthcare.
Lee has over 300 employees and generated sales of about $140 million (approx. €104 million) in 2010.
Lee Technologies' capabilities include consulting, site assessment, design, equipment specification and selection to integration, commissioning, facility operations staffing, maintenance and proactive 24x7 remote monitoring.

Founded in 1983, Lee Technologies has commissioned critical power equipment for more than 5 million square feet of mission-critical space and currently maintains critical equipment that supports over 3 million square feet throughout the U.S.
