Video Demo: Eaton 93PM UPS for Data Centers

Eaton recently introduced the 93PM uninterruptible power supply (UPS), which provides backup power for data centers. The 93PM is designed to work either at the perimeter of a data hall or as an in-row unit within an aisle containment system. To accommodate an in-row configuration, the 93PM has added the option of exhausting heat through the rear of the unit into the hot aisle. The fans on the top of the unit are placed at the back so that data center operators can also use a chimney system at the rear of the unit to remove air, and still have room for overhead electrical cabling. The 93PM also figures an updated interface to provide more data, as well as Eaton's Energy Saver System (ESS) to provide "eco mode" benefits of up to 99 percent energy efficiency. In this video, Eaton Product Manager Jason Anderson provides an overview of the 93PM and its features. This video runs about 4 minutes, 30 seconds.
