Microsoft Technology Centers are used to showcase and demonstrate the newest technology of Microsoft and its partners, helping customers learn how to make technology work for their business. At a new center, when the cooling system failed shortly after installation, the Dell Compellent Phone Home feature and Copilot Support alerted Microsoft staff and helped them avert damage that would have been caused by temperatures that reached 119 degrees F in the server room. This video, which runs 3:41, gives a brief overview of the Microsoft Technology Centers and explains how the sensors in the storage system saved the day.
