A couple of notable blogs in the data center sector have shifted URLs this month:

  • Microsoft data center honcho Michael Manos is now blogging at Loose Bolts, offering "thoughts on cloud computing, infrastructure at scale, and data centers." The new site, hosted at Wordpress.com, is a successor to Mike's Random Thoughts on Live Spaces.

  • The ServerSpecs blog at SearchDataCenter.com has been split into three niche blogs at ITKnowledgeExchange, another TechTarget property. Most of the data center posts will move to Data Center Facilities Pro, while distributed computing will be the topic at Server Farming and mainframe news migrates to Mainframe Propeller Head. "We were trying to cover a little too much on this single site (everything from mainframe programming to air conditioners) and it wasn't really working from a return readership stand point," writes Matt from TechTarget.
