Inside A Super Secure Federal Data 'Vault' - AOL recently had a look inside "The Vault," one of the most secure cloud hosting facilities in the country. Housed near Dulles, Va., Carpathia Hosting Inc.'s data center handles cloud services for more than 20 federal agencies, including several from the national security community.

New data center to open in Wilmington - Berkeley Technology Services will open a new office at 101 Bellevue Parkway in Wilmington. The newly leased 70,000-square-foot space will allow the company to expand its data center and information technology services, and create 17 new jobs by December 2013. From the Newark (Del.) Post.

CoreLink Supports Telemedicine Provider InTouch - CoreLink Data Centers has announced an agreement to support Santa Barbara,Calif.-based InTouch Health's cloud-based network infrastructure, which enables physicians to remotely consult with patients across the continuum of homes, clinics, ambulances, procedure rooms, ICUs and patient wards. InTouch Health's Remote Presence robotic system delivers reliable imaging and documentation, extending a physician's ability to provide care where time and distance prevent face-to-face interaction.

Modular Data Centre on the Highway - The data center goes mobile. Greg Ferro of Ethereal Mind recently encountered a BladeRoom data center driving down the highway, straddling two lanes.
