This case study shares two stories of simplified edge deployments. First, a leader in the field of tax and auditing services with offices throughout the U.S. was embarking on a refresh and upgrade of server and infrastructure technology for multiple local offices. In the second case, one of the top 20 banks in the U.S., with more than 1200 retail branches and over 40 regional offices, was experiencing problems with their regional office UPS systems. Maintenance costs on the oversized, three-phase UPS systems were climbing as they aged and the size of the units made adding redundancy too expensive.
