Host Europe Acquired for $667 Million

Private equity firm Cinven Group will acquire European web hosting provider Host Europe Group for approximately $667 million from Montagu Private Equity, reports The WHIR. The acquisition announcement comes less than three years after Montagu acquired Host Europe from Oakley Capital Private Equity for $344 million.

Cinven is said to be starting discussions with lenders on debt financing within the next week. The private equity firm is undecided if the financing structure will be comprised of a loan, bond, or a combination of the two.
