The Next Generation Data Center (NGDC), CloudWorld and OpenSource World (formerly LinuxWorld) conferences are scheduled for August 12-13 at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco. Here's a look at the announced keynotes: 

  • Lew Tucker, Vice President and CTO of Cloud Computing at Sun Microsystems, will deliver a keynote address on “If Cloud Computing is the Answer, What is the Question?” Tucker will discuss how different cloud computing approaches can address different needs and solve different problems.A keynote panel will feature four prominent cloud computing strategists – Sam Charrington from Appistry,  James Urquhart from Cisco Systems, AT&T Business Solutions' Joe Weinman and moderator Jeffrey Kaplan of THINKstrategies.

  • California Secretary of State Debra Bowen and Dell Inc. will also present keynote addresses.
