Cisco to Announce Data Center 3.0 Innovations

On April 6th, Cisco will be joined by key partners and customers in announcing another breakthrough innovation in their Data Center 3.0 solution. The event takes place at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET). Participants are invited join in on the webcast to get the details on this industry changing announcement.
On March 18th Cisco announced it had achieved outstanding performance results in industry standard benchmarks for virtualized environments as well as other key data center applications. Of the top results, Cisco says the VMware VMmark™ benchmark had special significance for data center operator by demonstrating that the Unified Computing System B250 M2 Server is capable of delivering the highest performing blade server for virtualization, regardless of the number of processor cores.
Opinions vary widely as to the criticality of computing benchmarks, but most people agree they are required, and an important data point. “It’s quite an achievement for Cisco to have scored so high on so many of the industry benchmarking tests,” said Boyd Davis, General Manager, Data Center Marketing.
On April 6th Cisco will outline new technology advancements developed by Cisco and their key partners.
