Companies can no longer afford to ignore energy efficiency in their IT operations, according to Dr. Albert Esser of Dell, who spoke with Data Center Knowledge about the best ways to save energy and money in corporate data center operations.

At the recent Green:Net conference, Dr. Albert Esser of Dell spoke with Data Center Knowledge about the best ways to save energy and money in corporate data center operations. Esser, who is vice president for data center infrastructure at Dell, says companies can no longer afford to ignore energy efficiency in their IT operations. "Green is not really a problem or a costly proposition anymore, and if you choose not to be green, you just can't afford it," said Esser. This video runs about 7 minutes.
