President and Chief Executive Officer Keith Olsen (center, with fist raised) of Switch & Data Facilities opens trading at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York Tuesday morning. The ceremony follows a Feb. 8 initial public offering for Switch and Data (SDXC) in which the company raised about $200 million. Net income to the company was about $142 million, which Switch And Data used to pay off loans, reducing its long-term debt by $104 million. Olsen also was featured on a webcast at TheStreet.com to note the event and talk about Switch & Data's business. We'll have more on Switch and Data's latest results and analyst conference call in an upcoming post.
