Telx Data Centers Get SAS 70 Certification
Telx has obtained a SAS 70 Type II report covering its data center facilities in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Telx has obtained a SAS 70 Type II report covering its data center facilities in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The report was based on an independent audit of Telx’s control processes in 12 facilities.

SAS 70 is the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70, developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). It provides a company's customers and independent auditors with information about the company’s internal control structure. Telx has obtained a Type II report, which indicates that it has been officially audited, attests to the design and operational effectiveness of procedures for security, controls and operations. The locations covered by the SAS 70 report include:
New York City: 60 Hudson Street; 111 Eighth Avenue
Atlanta: 56 Marietta Street
Chicago: 350 East Cermak; 600 South Federal
Dallas: 2323 Bryan Street; 8435 North Stemmons Freeway
New Jersey: 100 Delawanna Avenue, Clifton
Miami: 36 North East 2nd Street
San Francisco: 200 Paul Avenue
Los Angeles: 600 West 7th Street
Phoenix: 120 East Van Buren Street
The SAS 70 audit, performed by Weaver and Tidwell, LLP, evaluated Telx’s complete colocation and interconnection environment, including its transition and activation procedures, security, help desk, problem change management process, monitoring systems, operations, disaster recovery program and other elements.
