Carrier Provider Takes Space at Phoenix NAP - Phoenix NAP announced this week that Colo@, a national carrier provider, is now offering clients bandwidth/Internet connectivity out of the Phoenix NAP facility. Along with the new options, the carrier provider has established a point-of-presence within the datacenter. "We are thrilled with the addition of Colo@ as a PoP in our facility's meet-me-room," said Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP. "As a national carrier provider the expanded offerings Colo@ has will assist in enabling businesses that need a quality connectivity solution to procure one" Total Server Solutions, parent company of Colo@, also provides fully managed servers in their Phoenix NAP PoP. ColoHouse Provides Backup to Comcast Business Services - Comcast Business Services announced on Tuesday that its division in Florida's east coast region has partnered with data center provider ColoHouse to provide customers with Internet and telecommunications connectivity in the event of a power loss. Comcast says this is particularly important in this region due to the need for disaster recovery and business continuity during hurricane season - from around June to November. Customers will be able to connect with Comcast facilities at the ColoHouse data center to establish backup services. From The WHIR.
Steadfast Networks Data Centers Pass SSAE16 Audit - Steadfast Networks, a Chicago-based dedicated server hosting and colocation services specialist, today announced that its state-of-the-art data centers in Chicago and New York have successfully completed an SSAE 16 audit, marking the company’s ongoing commitment to secure and highly redundant hosting. These data centers at 725 S Wells and 350 E Cermak in Chicago and 121 Varick in New York City are among the first to achieve SSAE 16 compliancy. Press release.
