Colocation and data center services provider Data Foundry announced today that Delta Rigging and Tools, Inc. (DR&T) has chosen to outsource its corporate data center to Data Foundry. Delta Rigging and Tools is the largest U.S. provider of industrial lifting products and services, and uses Data Foundry’s carrier-neutral facility in Austin to manage its primary corporate servers.
DR&T is based in Houston and offers a complete portfolio of lifting solutions across a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas and Transportation. The company uses the Austin center as the main hub for its entire corporate network.
"Data Foundry’s strategic location away from the Gulf Coast hurricane zone and its strong reputation in the industry were the deciding factors in our selection," said Adam Orgeron, IT Manager of Delta Rigging."“The Data Foundry team took the time to listen and provide us with the best, most cost-effective solutions, rather than just trying to make a quick sale. I was confident that we were receiving a true consultation and the level of professionalism was beyond our expectations."
"Delta Rigging joins a growing trend of Houston-based companies moving their primary production servers to Austin,"said Shane Menking , President and CFO of Data Foundry. "Our Austin facilities provide an ideal location for companies trying to protect their mission-critical operations from a natural disaster."
