At the Data Center Jobs Board, we have new job listings from DuPont Fabros Technology for a Data Center-Critical Infrastructure Manager (electrical) and Essential Infrastructure Manager (Mechanical). Both positions are located at DuPont Fabros' new Santa Clara, Calif. facility.

A Data Center-Critical Infrastructure Manager (electrical) has a comprehensive knowledge of large scale data centers, including state-of-the-art electrical distribution systems, static and rotary UPS, emergency standby generation, fire alarm/suppression and security infrastructures. This position requires a thorough understanding of building monitoring systems that assist in the operation and management of the electrical distribution infrastructure. The Critical Infrastructure Manager (CIM) schedules, coordinates and participates in all significant planned and emergency maintenance for the facility. The CIM shall ensure that these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method that ensures the uninterrupted integrity of the critical loads supported by these systems. A Essential Infrastructure Manager (EIM) has a thorough understanding of building automation systems that assist in the operation and control of the mechanical plant infrastructure. The EIM schedules, coordinates and participates in all significant planned and emergency maintenance for the facility. The EIM ensures that these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method that ensures the uninterrupted integrity of the critical loads supported by these systems. Other responsibilities include developing operating and maintenance strategies to ensure continuous availability of all critical systems as well developing and updating preventative and predictive maintenance programs for essential equipment.
