What do you do when your company tells that it needs its space back - the space housing your data center? For Randall Peters, the Director of IT Operations at DirecTV, the company's real estate decisions led to a search for a new home for the data center. Peters talks about the company's criteria, the buy vs. build decision, and how they chose a new data center provider (in this case, i/o Data Centers i Phoenix). This video runs 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

This is one of a series of customer videos posted by i/o from the 2010 Gartner Data Center Conference. For additional video, check out our DCK video archive and the Data Center Videos channel on YouTube.
