Lightower Builds Into New Net Access Data Center - Lightower Fiber Networks has completed a diverse build into the Net Access data center in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. The build will provide Lightower and Net Access customers with diverse points-of-entry as well as diverse routing options. With the addition of the Net Access data center to its network, Lightower continues its aggressive growth and expansion in the New York / New Jersey metropolitan areas. Net Access customers have access to a complete suite of all-fiber networking services from Lightower including access to over 3,500 Lightower service locations throughout the Northeast.
Posadas Selects Savvis for Strategic IT Outsourcing - Posadas, Mexico's leading hotel operator, has selected Savvis as its IT infrastructure outsourcing provider. Posadas will migrate and consolidate its IT from its data center infrastructure to cloud-centered solutions hosted in a Savvis data center in Dallas. Posadas will employ a combination of Savvis' enterprise-class services, including Symphony Dedicated private cloud, hosting, storage and security.
IO Announces Contract with BEX Express - IO, a provider of modular data center technology and services, today announced the company has been awarded a contract by BEX Express, a managed services provider for small and medium-sized companies. IO will provide BEX Express with Data Center as a Service (DCaaS™) delivered out of the IO Phoenix data center. This approach supplies BEX Express a high-performance, cost-effective solution – without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data center.
OpenX to Add Fifth Data Center - OpenX Technologies, a leading provider of digital advertising technology, will open its fifth data center to support the approximately 5,000 publishing clients worldwide that rely on its Software-as-a-Service platform. To support the more than 1,000,000 bids per second at peak that it handles in its Real-Time Bidding exchange, OpenX Market, the company currently operates data centers in Los Angeles, Virginia, Amsterdam and Tokyo. The newest data center is expected to come online during the third quarter of 2012 and will be located in Chicago. In 2011, OpenX served one trillion ads and anticipates being at 300% of that rate in 2012.
Terremark Hybrid Cloud Supports Stefanini’s Global Growth - Terremark, a Verizon Company, was selected by Stefanini to help drive efficiency and innovation in 32 different markets around the world. Stefanini will leverage Terremark’s hybrid cloud solution to manage business-critical applications including development platforms used by geographically dispersed teams that provide value-added services, smart solutions and business consulting.
